Strategic product designer shaping products, brands, and technologies that make digital life feel human. Designing experiences like Weather Warnings that inform Dutch citizens in times of extreme weather, for the Dutch Government and the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI); and redefining the ride-hailing experience across 9 countries for ±50m users across Careem (Uber). I also work as an independent illustrator, facilitator, educator and have my own small studio called Komlae in support of sustainable development goals.

I like to explore the unknown like the Mariana Trench, guided by foraging, poetry, and my amateur saxophone skills. I believe in creating meaning where technology, art, health and nature meet.
